The Creative Fever of Folklore: Poetry Reading and Book Signing

Guilderland poet and frequent library workshop presenter Susan Comninos is the author of the just-published book, Out of Nowhere: Poems, (SFA Press/Texas A & M). She will lead an in-person poetry reading and book sale/signing, along with a discussion of the creative possibilities of leveraging a mystical symbol (i.e., the Golem of Prague) or repeating a line of Biblical verse (i.e., “My father was a wandering Aramean”). Come for the reading and a chance to meet the poet author; stay for the discussion, if you'd like! Susan will lead a poetry workshop on October 8, using one or more of the techniques discussed at her reading. Please register separately for that workshop; space is limited.
